The Breakdown Evaluation

The Breakdown Evaluation

Overall I think our production fairly well and there were only a few small things we could improve on for the main film and for the pre-production which we were focusing on we did very well and got it all done on time and kept our film as close as the pre-production as possible. In the pre-production I wrote the initial idea out to start with, and I also did the production schedule which we mostly kept to during the filming stage. And me and Jasmine both did the Recce forms and the Story boards together which both aided in our final film because we knew where we would film and how the film would be played out.

In the filming of our production the three actors were me, Jasmine and George, and the camera crew were Leah and Amy. And the acting went fairly well and there were no camera difficulties either. Some of the problems we did encounter whilst filming was the fact it was very hard to get the engine to smoke when we needed it to and make it look real. Also we could have put the killer in the background of some of the shots to make it more sinister and scary. Also we varied the angles in our film which made it look quite good and used appropriate shot types when needed. We could have perhaps made a clearer beginning to the film like an introduction or an establishing shot so it made more sense to the viewers.

During the editing phase it was mostly done by Leah and Amy and there were no problems with editing and nothing was really changed, so all that happened during this phase was we put the shots together so it made one film, added a scary backing track and a scream to one of the scenes and turned the film black and white.
